Friday, September 09, 2011 9:31:45 PM Surprised he's let the news do this report, exposing how big of a complete loser he is. And people wonder why we're in a recession, one reason is ass-bags like this. I've always hated firemen. |

Friday, September 09, 2011 12:57:47 PM @BluishOrange: Again, it's "Objectivist"--not "Randian". At this point, I can't tell if you're trolling or just stupid. |

Friday, September 09, 2011 9:52:47 AM One story of a man who is perhaps,(one story is not the whole story)taking advantage of the system does not indicate a fatal flaw in the system. There are also many stories of the system taking advantage of the man. No system can ever be perfect. We can try and do the best we possibly can with a system, but it will never be perfect. |

LOL... I love how Ollie goes around saying "I WIN... I WIN" as if it were an assumed fact. No, my friend, you didn't. The loss just went over your head. |

Thursday, September 08, 2011 10:59:34 PM @ OldOllie - and this is what you get voting Republican Let's see, on the one hand, we have a documented case of a public sector union employee ripping off the taxpayers under terms of a contract negotiated with elected Democrat politicians who are getting huge kickbacks from compulsory union dues which are ultimately paid for by taxpayers, and on the other hand, we have a baseless slander with a not-so-clever picture. Ollie for the win!

Thursday, September 08, 2011 6:29:05 PM And by the way, Archer, Friedman's fallacy is that capitalism has succeeded. |

Thursday, September 08, 2011 6:23:32 PM Every time Archer shows up, he says "ad hominem" or identifies a fallacy. He seems to spend a lot of time studying up on arguing. I guess the Randians like to read another book or two once in a while after all. |

Thursday, September 08, 2011 5:46:32 PM "What a crock." This guy is lazy, marathons aside. He has no right to accept this money when there are people struggling to find one. We don't have the money as individual Americans to waste on selfish people like this, but, sadly, it's already more widespread than one would hope. |

Thursday, September 08, 2011 4:20:00 PM In such cases it would make more sense to pay for education that would allow him entrance to another field of work. Pay him a stipend contingent on his registering, attending and passing courses that would enable him to do that. It's a shame (If)he was hurt on the job, but I'm unaware that other professions allow you a free ride. Except of course, politics. |

Thursday, September 08, 2011 4:13:22 PM did i hear right, 15% disabled in one arm? if he's able to run marathons he's able to go to college, get a job, and get off disability. just because he's not entirely able to do a job he loves doesn't give him the right to get $70,000+ in tax-free cash and benefits. i'd call him a lazy freak but there's nothing lazy about training for a marathon, so i guess he's just a freeloading freak. hope he loses all of his benefits and loses them soon. |
