There are also many stories of the system taking advantage of the man. No system can ever be perfect. We can try and do the best we possibly can with a system, but it will never be perfect. |

Let's see, on the one hand, we have a documented case of a public sector union employee ripping off the taxpayers under terms of a contract negotiated with elected Democrat politicians who are getting huge kickbacks from compulsory union dues which are ultimately paid for by taxpayers, and on the other hand, we have a baseless slander with a not-so-clever picture.

In such cases it would make more sense to pay for education that would allow him entrance to another field of work. Pay him a stipend contingent on his registering, attending and passing courses that would enable him to do that. It's a shame (If)he was hurt on the job, but I'm unaware that other professions allow you a free ride. Except of course, politics. |

did i hear right, 15% disabled in one arm? if he's able to run marathons he's able to go to college, get a job, and get off disability.
just because he's not entirely able to do a job he loves doesn't give him the right to get $70,000+ in tax-free cash and benefits.
i'd call him a lazy freak but there's nothing lazy about training for a marathon, so i guess he's just a freeloading freak.
hope he loses all of his benefits and loses them soon. |
