Eat yourself to death woman - but don't expect the tax payer to fund your weightloss programme if you are forced to lose the pounds to carry on living. Or for that matter pay for the firemen to cut you out of your house and transport you to hospital. |

I wouldn't care... if she didn't have children. Her kid just sat there, straight-faced, and contemplated the possibility of his mother dying. Through her own poor decisions. Willingly killing herself.
That has to cause some psychological damage. |

I wouldn't want to set that record. At least she has dreams. Kinda unfair to the kids especially when she gets bed ridden. Not my cup of tea. If she wants to purposely ruin her life have at it! |

My wife is a nurse, and she hates people like this. Cause she has to take care of them, and it's very difficult thing to do with someone so big. She has to help roll them to clean them, and help lift them to move them between beds.
As for the husband "as long as she's healthy", being obese is unhealthy, so gaining even more weight is the worst thing she could do.
One day the fireman will have to cut down a wall and use a crane to get her fat ass to a hospital, so stupid it's sad. |

Pip, true I am British, and also true that I wouldn't read a tabloid newspaper if I was paid to, especially the Sun.
The paper had it's own commercial motives for interviewing her, but how she came across in it was all down to her. Fat people get enough bad PR on their own they don't need someone like this woman seeking some publicity because what she's saying will influence how other fat people are seen and judged by association too. |

As someone who lost their dad at 18, I know exactly what these kids will go through when she inevitably dies. The rest of their lives they will be scarred leaving a void that should have been their mothers love in their lives. Instead, she is being selfish and wants publicity. |

Pip_pipp... but it's an interview with the woman herself, so it's not like the Sun have made it up or put words in her mouth - cake maybe, words no.
In her words she wants to be the fattest woman....it's her seeking the title and publicity for it. This isn't a story about a woman who is just fat, it's a story about a woman that's actively trying to be huge. there's a subtle difference there - and yes I do think her attitude is shameful and selfish to those around her - especially her child. She cares more about food and her self than the impact it's all having on him. |
