Wednesday, August 31, 2011 8:23:28 AM That's one fine list, Mr. Bacon Pie. I share your sense of too-badness. |

Tuesday, August 30, 2011 9:21:05 PM So the only "first glimpse" is an artist rendering. Disappointment. |

Tuesday, August 30, 2011 7:35:40 PM "could best be explained by a..." "The team's theory is that a star...." "That jet was likely responsible for the mysterious burst...." "Burrows estimates that...." "might have been swallowed by the black hole...." I know that artist's conception is pretty strong evidence, but maybe it's something no one's ever seen before (well actually no one has seen this either). |

Tuesday, August 30, 2011 6:11:47 PM Does this mean this is the first time an artist has ever tried to paint a star being consumed by a black hole?

Tuesday, August 30, 2011 12:00:14 PM A tad misleading. While the event itself must have been fascinating, I don't particularly need to see just another artistic rendering of what it would look like. |
