I was playing portal 2 yesterday and thinking how awesome a Portal movie would be, But GLaDOS is a must. Without GLaDOS it would be stupid. |

Interesting, although I found the story a bit weak I kept thinking to myself this has a really good D.O.P for a fan project, I looked Keith Dunkerley up, he's actually done a lot.
I don't mind how the story isn't entirely true to portal. In fact I'd rather watch a portal movie that's inspired than the idea rather than a total adaptation. |

Aedran: 2 theories I have on the plot. The woman isn't Chell but an earlier test subject. A more likely theory is that when GLaDOS released Chell it was actually a trick to put Chell into a virtual reality simulation for "real world testing". GLaDOS still gets to use Chell for science, but without having to deal with her.

I actually had a portal gun once. But I dropped it in one of the portals and haven't seen it since. |

Meh. For a portal film, it wasn't great. I've seen a better one that had a chell that looked like chell, a properly made portal gun, and less money spent on making the CG look as good as this did; and more money spent on everything else. |

I hate people using portal to show off their CGI skills. This was not a portal fan film. There wasn't even a portal involved until 3 mins in. The things that define portal, companion cubes, testing, GLADoS, the orange jumpsuit, the promise of cake weren't there. Whoever wrote this has just seen a picture of a portal gun and knows it fires an orange portal and a blue portal. |

This was okay. the only good part was the last 10 seconds. Speaking of that, if it weren't for the last 10 seconds the title would more appropriately be, "No Escape: A short that has a portal gun in it." |
