It was written to provoke a response, for if my statement was dumb, so was theirs.
I can't prove the existence of God to anyone, but atheists can't prove evolution or science being the end-all-be-all answer to life on earth either. It's a matter of belief either way. |

Are you serious? If you really believe that you probably don't know many atheists. Atheist demand proof, they ain't just going to read a bible and say, oh I believe now. In science terms, Atheist go all the way to the conclusion step, while a believer will stay at the theory. |

Ryan: You have a point there, people try to put limits on God's power. Since God is omnipotent there are no limits, scientific or otherwise, for him.
Of course there is no way to prove that, we take it on faith. Believe it or not, an omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God scares a lot of people and they'd rather believe in science alone.
Atheists would say that deists are only moral people because we fear God, and thus claim their morality is superior, but really most atheists fear God more than any deist does. |
