Monday, August 15, 2011 4:30:17 PM The lady needs her head checked. The horse stumbled over the curb and that's why it fell down. It stumbled because something spooked it. poo like this happens all the efin' time. The horse was not injured by it, and it was fine. There's no reason it shouldn't go back to work. |

Monday, August 15, 2011 4:13:24 PM if that horse is to weak to do its job, then it would be sold for meat, or some sort of farm feed.. is that what that stupid bitch really wants? because people cant afford to take care of injured horses. thats just a fact of life.. if the horse isn't working its dead.. life sucks.. some people are just weak.. yea its not nice seing a horse fall.. but it got back up right?? saem thing humanss do when they fall..you know just like the old saying.. fall of you horse get the drat back on, or you'le end up as useless as that woman |

Monday, August 15, 2011 12:56:18 PM I would have been pissed off as well. If the horse fainted while I was in the carriage, I would probably start to cry (but not hysterical like she was). I rode horses, and worked at a ranch every summer from the age of 11 to 17, so that's why I feel so strongly about this. If he gave it something to drink and maybe some food a little time to rest, then I would be fine with him putting it back to work. But until then I would tell every person who walked up to him that the horse just fainted, and not to give him any business. |

Monday, August 15, 2011 10:55:45 AM @XbigXmommaX because horses fall to the ground all the time. but it looks so clumsy and silly that they never show it on film out of respect to the horses, but fact is that they are really used to falling over all the time... ... .......yeah no, but if it was in pain or had twisted an foot or broken something, it would show. The horse is probably just fine. And an accident like that is no reason to take it out of work. it's only a living being. we all make mistakes |

Monday, August 15, 2011 5:11:36 AM @Groogle: You must be new to this planet so we earthlings should probably explain to you about the resiliency of our livestock. When a horse falls because it tripped, it gets back up again. In fact, anything with legs will do that...except Joe "3 knees" Theissman. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 5:31:24 PM @Groogle, You sound exacly like the nutjob in the video. He didn't lay down, he tripped because of a tough maneuver, and nothing happened to him. If anything happened to him, they would sure as hell do something. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 4:39:35 PM wow, she freaks out b/c the horse tripped on the curb and fell over? She should try being ON the horse, when it freaks out, and falls ON you. That doesn't f*cking feel fun. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 4:24:08 PM the drat is wrong with this lady? is she serious? SHE probably made the damn thing nervous, and to me it looked like it tripped and sat down? i highly doubt that her screaming at that guy and raising a scene is gonna help anyone. "traumatic?" somebody needs to show this lady what trauma is... i'll volunteer. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 3:22:39 PM CrakrJak, you should throw more words my way, it will probably change the fact that the horse was lying on the floor in the video. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 3:14:01 PM Groogle: it's a sad world when you need to work your horse to death everyday just to make a buck. I'm guessing you have no idea that horses are built to stand on their feet all day and at the slow pace these carriages move these horses are not overworked at all. You also don't know that these carriage operators are reviewed periodically by the ASPCA and The Humane Society otherwise they can't get a license to operate in NYC. So just keep stating your uninformed opinion as if it's fact. |
