Monday, August 15, 2011 9:17:49 PM do you need to pass a psychological test to do this, or can depressed people work here too? |

Monday, August 15, 2011 8:37:31 AM This is just terrifying. I wouldn't dare even taking the elevator up, not even with a parachute. |

Monday, August 15, 2011 8:28:30 AM There's no such things as fear of heights, it's only the fear of falling down! *watches video* HOLY DRAT IT'S THE FEAR OF HEIGHTS |

Monday, August 15, 2011 4:12:18 AM Really old video, but it gives me shivers every time I watch it. The transition to the top is probably the worst part (other than climbing down again) |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 11:11:54 PM Apparently about 10 workers die each year in the US from falling from transmission towers. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 7:45:31 PM As soon as the video was done I went to lean back in my chair, forgetting it had no back cause it broke recently, and I thought I was going to fall to my death. lmao! |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 2:41:04 PM Its not that money would convince me to do this- I would be physically incapable of moving my body because of fear paralysis. I have been on second level floors in malls(you can feel movement) that made me have to lay down. I couldn't imagine being so high up and feeling the tower sway in the wind- or how you can visually see the polls lean when his partner grabbed on below him. |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 1:25:33 PM There are no circumstances I can think of that would see me make my way up that tower. And they are free climbing it. It made my stomach turn a little when they said that. I wonder what kind of safety record that occupation has. One thing is for sure... not one of those guys ever got testicular cancer, cause cancer can't do anything to the solid brass nuts these guys have |

Sunday, August 14, 2011 1:21:04 PM "Man climbs 1700 feet straight up" vs. "Man takes elevator 1600 feet straight up, then starts climbing another 150 feet." Scary as hell, and I wouldn't want to be in his shoes, but a bit misleading of a title, no? |
