Nyan: your precious metals and gemstones will be worthless.
Gold, silver, and gems will always be valuable commodities. They may seem useless by themselves but they can will still be used monetarily.
That's not to say other things won't rise in value but rare metals and gems will always be valuable. |

100% correct! buy now before the manipulation defaults and it sores it were its supposed to be (near $150/oz) oh and get out of paper silver too, trade that garbage for physical silver. |

Also Taintteddy is an idiot. Yes those metals cannot be artificially produced and are a TRUE limited supply, if you actually look at silver the price has risen 400% in a year. has your us property value? |

Stop thinking that money is money and understand its only coupons. Silver did well for a while til they started manipulating the market.it will go up and up again ...but mainly because the US dollar is almost worthless and will be even more so tommorrow. Those companies are growing..but not as fast as the dollar is dropping. |

Yes, I think farms, guns, ammunition and toilet paper will be worth more in the Post Apocalyptic world.
And 'feminine products'... think about it, they'll be like gold!

Gold has went from $1200 and ounce to over $1800 in a year, That's a 50% gain, I've yet to hear of a single stock that's done better this year. |
