@CrakrJak: I don't give a toss about Obama nor Bush, but I don't see Madest claiming that Obama didn't bail them out? He was poiting out that Bush has bailed banks out as well, maybe you misunderstood him? |

The problem is more and more people are being turned into mindless drones that only follow procedure and have zero critical thinking ability. The bank worker probably followed procedure and contacted another mindless drone, who called another mindless drone, until the procedure said to call the police. Someone with half a brain probably figured it all out and told the bank to let the police know it was a mistake, and the mindless drone, now outside of normal activity, thought it was sufficient to leave a message. |

madest: Obama agreed with it, was intricately involved with it's crafting, and it was his Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, that doled out the money to certain banks.
So Yes, Obama bailed out the banks, You're the one that apparently needs reminding. |

UPDATE: Representatives for both Chase Bank and Ikenna Njoku's law firm Peterson Young Putra now confirm to Seattle Weekly that a settlement has been reached between Chase and Njoku for an undisclosed amount of money.
"The case has been amicably resolved and we are happy," says Eva Cole, a representative for Peterson Young Putra, refusing to elaborate.
Chase also says that the bank has "already changed its procedures in branches to avoid situations like this." |

The corruption goes all the way up to the top, those banks have screwed us all over with the bailouts, why would anyone believe they'd give even half-a-sh|t about a single black man, or any of the rest of us. |

If I was a lawyer, I'd take this case on contingency. There is no maxiumum punitive damage award. Punitive = punishment, as opposed to financial compensation. That lawyer is one of the good ones. |

Similar thing happened to me in Chase when I bough my house, the teller and her manager didn't believe me since I was so young, it felt like I was in a CIA interrogation room. |
