Wednesday, August 10, 2011 4:07:25 PM @ LazyMe484: As I stated at the bottom of the pics, I don't think it would be right, but people are crazy and do crazy sh*t when pushed too far. @ boredfrank: Good idea, but I wouldn't want to give one cent in royalties to that craptastic band. For the people who don't want to shot these f*cks, if everyone lived happy in peace the Earth would be over populated and we'd all be bad off. If God has to THIN THE HERD then it won't be just f*cktards like these. So if I had to chose between f*cktards or people who make a difference in the world, I chose f*cktards. |

That'll clear london town good n proper :)" It was the excessive playing of that s*hite that started the riots in the first place!!! Someone turn that young ladies swag off so this madness ends. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 3:09:39 PM @boredfrank maybe cher lloyd's 'swagger jagger' rather than nickleback. That'll clear london town good n proper :) As far as rebuilding goes; sadly alot of insurance policies rule out riots in their contract as a reason for damage to property along with 'acts of god'. Many peoples livelihoods are indeed in tatters. And heard everywhere is the sound of 'no win no fee' lawers rubbing their paws together for if the police have to use force. Its a pooe state of affairs, make no mistake. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 2:52:05 PM What disgusts me the most is that the fires have all been in small family or one man businesses, most of which have been there for years and years. All of the big chain stores can be up in business again by next week, insurance can replace everything and repair damages. Some people have lost everything, and a lot of the older buildings had flats above. That's people made homeless, by children. This is why the police aren't using water cannon or baton rounds or rubber bullets, alot of them are just kids, teenagers. Croydon will never be the same again. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 8:32:09 AM @BoredFrank: that is an approach I can definitely get behind. I do want the Met to take a tougher approach, but I reckon the reason they are apprehensive about being too tough is due to incidents in the past, and the risk of it escalating. Don't think the unwillingness to shoot Rioters equals a respect for them, I see them as nothing more than scum. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 7:50:30 AM Look, if the thought of using guns makes you queasy, just outfit a truck with powerful loudspeakers and play some Nickelback. Crowd flees, ears bleeding, demoralized over the terminal commercialization of rock and roll. Promotions and handshakes all around.

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 7:42:41 AM See? this is where having guns makes sense. Want to disperse a crowd? Fire into it. Time tested-government approved. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 7:02:15 AM jtrebowski -- We obviously see the 'crowds' as two different entities. You, I think, see disadvantaged youth expressing their pent-up rage over a social system gone bad. I see a murderous mob of thugs who'd gleefully slaughter their own grandmothers if they thought she had a penny in her apron. Time to thin the herd. Now if you'll pardon me I have a goose-stepping class... |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:54:43 AM BoredFrank, I'm not saying there shouldn't be a higher level of enforcement. I just think your statement about using live rounds was ridiculous and downright Fascist. Be careful for what you wish for. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:47:41 AM Wow, you people show an inordinate amount of concern for the well-being of arsonists and looters. You must be much better people than I. Are you planning a big block party for the looters, maybe offering them foot massages, facials, perhaps an Introduction to Yoga class? Good for you! I do hope the rioters recognize your innate goodness and many fine qualities, should you find yourself surrounded by them on a street someday. But I wouldn't bet on it. Stay safe, Londoners. You may hate me, you may find me repulsive, but I hope all of you (aside from the rioters, screw them) make it out of this okay. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:39:46 AM While I certainly disagree with firing live rounds into random crowds (I didn't know Ghadaffi posted here) something drastic needs to be done. These people are harming other completely innocent people in the name of protesting harming of a (allegedly armed) man. Harming others isn't a very good show of protest to harming others... |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:28:43 AM Lol, anyone else see the fail in this guys plan? Also parantly he has already been arested. Link is to long to post so just search "PLYMOUTH RIOT SAVE ARE ENGLAND FROM THE GOVERMENT" on facebook. Pretty much he made a FB group to start a riot in Plymouth and forgot to take into account that his name is show as the groups creator. :/ *Sigh* |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:24:27 AM jtrebrowski, maybe you should ask the lady who had to jump from a burning building (set afire by the rioters) how she felt about the level of response offered by the London police. Oops, you can't, my bad. And you point was? |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:17:20 AM Something tells me that BoredFrank gets off to images of jack-booted government thugs goose-stepping down city streets, all while bemoaning the evils of "big government". Can't have it both ways, dude. |
