Wednesday, August 10, 2011 12:47:58 PM My dad would just ignore me and continue to read a newspaper until I was too tired to continue screaming. Or he would walk away. |

Tuesday, August 09, 2011 2:07:03 PM Typing as a former child of abuse, I don't recommend (imo) hitting a child, but when they're spoiled brats like this one I'd tell her to stfu and whip her one across the face :) Ok I probably wouldn't do that, I'd just walk away so then she'd be too embarrassed to stand there and keep screaming. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 11:56:53 AM Laughing and smiling when your kid does something wrong can send a subliminal message of encouragement imo. Just like when you pet a scared dog and say "Its OK, dont be afraid", you are actually saying "It's OK, go ahead and be afraid". |

Monday, August 08, 2011 8:13:04 AM Also I don't believe in hitting children unless it's an absolute last resort, this little biznatch however, needed to be punted into that pool. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 8:10:38 AM tsiemens is right. The mother is doing exactly what she should. Ignore her. The reason she's acting like that and screaming for daddy is probably because daddy spoils her, the child knows if she acts out she'll get what she wants. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 3:47:30 AM Wow. Someone's tired and frustrated! Now try having this PLUS 23 other kids all watching and playing up because the attention is focused off of them. Not much fun. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 2:43:02 AM Most kids act like this if parents normally cave in to their demands and whining. None of my kids act like this and I have 3, if they tried acting like this they would simply regret it later, furthermore I say no once and thats it, the story never changes. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 1:26:35 AM @liberkaos So, the fact that the adults are laughing at the kids frustration over not being able to properly communicating her anger, does not bother any of you guys? And the casual slap by the presumed mother? I didn't like that one bit. My kid started to throw a tantrum like that in a shop once. I just carried her to the car, and let her calm down in a private place, so she could regain control and dignity. But then again, I'm a real psycho for not hitting, spraying and abusing my kids, so what do I know? Apparently nothing about Polynesian cultural practices. That slap was nothing compared to Samoans and Tongans give. That was a love slap compared to the discipline slap. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 1:23:50 AM "Whaaaaaa! I want my daddy". A good Polynesian dad would have inflicted a good slap on the face. Be careful what you ask for little girl. |

Monday, August 08, 2011 1:07:01 AM Wow, I'm the first one to post it, well, here it goes. She should really read Casey Anthony's book on parenting. I hear it's a short read, but effective. And it comes with a coupon book to all the sweetest clubs in town. |
