Wow, gun control has to be the stupidest argument ever. I just helped a buddy of mine get a gun license, and it's really not that hard in Canada. Yet gun crimes (and even gun accidents) are incredibly rare where I live, and most people here have guns.
My theory: We worry about people who shoot people with guns, not guns. |

Gun control punishes only people such as myself who prefer to own firearms for home protection and target shooting. Criminals will still get guns regardless of how liberal or strict the laws are. It always amazes me when things like this happen and people blame the guns as opposed to the shooter. Tell me, if the guy had ran on the bus and stabbed somebody would you blame the knife?

Wouldn't make much difference to this sort of thing. It would dramatically cut down on the number of accidental deaths and spur of the moment rage shootings, but it would have far less effect on anything like this. At best, some of the shooters might find it impossible to get hold of a gun. Maybe. Probably not, though. You can get guns in *England*, which has the strictest gun control laws a past government could make up to get votes from mindless knee-jerk voters led by the nose by hysterical media. It's also harder to smuggle weapons into England than the USA - how can you truly secure such a huge coastline? |

Do any of you idiots talking about stricter gun control laws, really think these subhuman savages give a crap about following the law? The only people that gun control prevents from getting a gun are people who follow the law. And you OTHER idiots who are actually dumb enough to think that not minding your own business warrants attempted murder, I sincerely hope someone you care about is murdered because the person sitting next to them on a bus decides to be nosy, then maybe you'll rethink your stupidity. @Dr4k. I disagree, it doesn't matter what the law is, the criminals will always be armed. I'd feel much safer knowing that normal citizens could protect themselves.
These idiots need to be thrown away, I hope they get the maximum punishment allowed by the law. |
