Uh who cares? It's not cosmo, it's a fashion magazine.
Why is it wrong to allow a young kid to model but not wrong to send little kids to college?
They're all being exposed to adult situations and expectations at a young age. Why is one different from another?
The little girl in the photos is not being sexualized. She's fully clothed and it's not like she's got her legs spread open. |

If she had over sized shoes and the photos didn't try so hard to portray such "sexy" looking poses, it would be cute. It is obvious she didn't pick these outfits out, and didn't decide to pose the way she did; Sorry, but I would have to agree this is too far. |

I can see why people would be upset - but she isn't modeling lingerie or bikinis that is meant to look sexy- she's wearing a dress and makeup and is wearing grown up shoes. It looks like art and it provokes discussion just like art.
My only problem is that an artist looking to push the envelope further will be less tasteful :) |

hm, I see nothing wrong with this. It's much more tasteful than some of the s*** I've seen that gets less press coverage... It's more art than anything really.

Like chibi said, if it was supposed to be perverted there'd be more spread eagle and booty. I sat and lay like that when I was that age, it just wasn't on the cover of a magazine with tons of make up and expensive clothing. It's definitely much more mild than some of the things you can find on youtube (toddlers dancing in tube tops with "adult" moves, for example.) |

I don't see anything wrong with the poses the girl was in. If she was sitting spread eagle or bending over, then there would be something sexual behind it, and it would be wrong. But just laying on her stomach or folding her legs, which girls that age will naturally do when sitting or laying? Come on people. This is stupid. |

The strange thing is, the models are supposed to be something women like me would aspire to look like so I'll buy the clothes. Why would I ever want to look like a 10 year old?? I think there are some perverted designers desperate for attention here. |
