Friday, August 05, 2011 3:55:35 AM Tosh.SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!!!! If you don't know how IAB works then look at the top of the goddamn page! You can tell who doesn't have children by reading the comments on this post. After helping birth my own 2 children I can tell you from experience, until you're a parent and you've gone through this, you have no idea what you're talking about. This is a beutiful thing, it makes me think of the moment my 2 daughters were born and that gets me every time. As far as her birthing the child alone, it is a higher risk level, Mothers have been doing this for thousands and thousands of years. The only thing that bugged me about this is that with the baby and in her fragile state it was probably hard as hell to get out of the tub and cleaned up. I was also freaking about the fact that she didn't try to clear the baby's lungs of fluid, but the baby's instincts kicked in and it worked out. We have natural instincts people. When it comes down to it, our bodies know what to do. |

Thursday, August 04, 2011 9:25:50 PM "I do not understand why people would water birth." It's supposed to be better for the baby to adjust to being outside the womb, as in the womb, the baby is surrounded by water. |
