This is the internet. Some of you are actually expecting people to restrain for engaging in or doing certain things?
Bottom line is, if you don't want to hear a specific topic turned into a joke then stay off the internet or at least be able to brush it off.
By no means does posting a picture of pedobear equate to endorsing sexual abuse of any kind. Some people, myself include, who have been victims of sexual abuse can laugh at such a thing because we don't want to let our aggressors continue to make us victims in the present. If I hadn't learned to laugh about such things I'd be dead.
Sure my experience isn't universal but neither is that of those who freak out on such things. The world is a gray box, asking others to put a filter on so it is either black or white is ridiculous. |

child abuse is something you either do or hate or both. we laugh at the horrible things we cannot understand in this world. i think the constant reminder that their are people out there that you need to be wary of is important. I have had the thought that pedo bear was a little too present on the internet, then i remembered that the internet is where a lot of them do their stalking. so to recap, a cartoon picture of a bear with the reminder that you should always keep an eye out to protect children is a good thing. |

Well he is making a valid point. Pedobear shows up wayyy too much here. And yeah we all got a chuckle out of it the first couple times around but now its getting just sick. I think it's about time we should retire the ol' bear. |

Yes, of course, because if a picture of a "rape van" (you know, the kinds that say "Free Candy" or "Rainbow the Clown") appears on this site, Fancylad took the photo himself and it is definitely not a photo that has been circulating around the internet from other sites that are linked here. Nope, everything here is original content from Fancy's own camera that you see in his hand in his profile pic.
