@Torizo I believe that they said that it was a water moccasin which, if you don't already know, is highly venomous. Now, whether it actually is a water moccasin or simply them exaggerating is yet to be seen. I don't know enough about snakes to tell the difference. |

I can't remember what type of snake they said it was but it isn't poisonous. I think these people just panicked. They should have just pulled over and removed the snake with a long stick or rope. |

an inflammatory thought:
that snake f'ing jumped; it's in the video. no denial on that irrespective of reasoning or ability to reason. Now, had these humans decided to pull over and remove said reptile, it may have led to a generation of snakes stupid enough to dive from moving vehicles. if we are respecting the sovereignty of life, we need to consider the self-sustainability of these life forms. if this particular snake could not have the sense to stay on the damn car, the humans did the favor of allowing the snake to kill itself by making an idiotic decision. in turn, this makes the snake population smarter. if we afford the snake the same life sovereignty as humans, does it not force the same accountability for it's own decisions we humans experience? discuss. |

Ha, I just had a similar experience today with a katydid, or for those across the pond, bush-cricket.
It clung to the hood of my car and then my windshield wiper, finding a nice recess to hide from the wind.
Stayed there for a good 10 minutes going up to 60 MPH. |
