Right. Because I'm sure the guy selling drugs was definitely alerting everyone involved that he's about to do something bad. The other guy punched the "ape" because he jeopardized that man's business and therefor the well-being of his family. I'm sure you'd be right ready to dish out some unannounced punches if I snuck around your back to get you laid off for my mistakes. Don't be as dumb as the "apes" you try and ridicule. But yeah definitely effed up that kids outlook on how hair cuts are supposed to go... |

@MrJB, It could have something to do with the fact that a man is getting beaten for selling drugs and his assailant can be heard yelling things like "I'll Kill you nigga", before dragging the man away by his legs.

The guy's a barber... how come he didn't use a razor blade like everyone else? You don't even need to take a sweat, just put the blade under the chin and slide side way in a swift motion.
Doesn't matter what way you slide it, the only things that matter is if the balde was on the right side or not and how many times did you sliced the fool.
And if you think that's bad then picture yourself tied to a chair with toothpicks under your toenails and someone kicking the back of your feet so that your toes kick into a brick wall.
And if you think that's bad think about getting a papercut directly on your eyeball.

Wrong in front the kid, ya. Still, I'd rather he be exposed to violence against bad people than against innocent people which I guarantee he's be seeing anyways. As for him getting a retaliation, maybe but he knew this guy. He was his right hand man who ran his shop when he was out. If he was a banger the guy wouldn't have hired him obviously. Even then barbers are respected and part of their culture and I guarantee if anything happened to him after this that kid would have been on the entire neighborhoods list and he knew it. |

I am not so sure. Look, assuming he owns and runs the place, he is likely not a stupid man. Of course you all could be right, but I am thinking he knows more about who he is dealing with due to the sub-culture he likely grew up with. The only reason I am thinking this way is because I have spent a great deal of time in the past and now again at this very moment living in the huge ghetto called New Orleans. I am surrounded by this stuff daily. I actually see it, literally... whenever I go out. It's never a dull moment, but I think he knows more about what he is doing and the ramifications than any of us. Admittedly, I may have crossed a line only when I mentioned it being appropriate to give the man a beating in front of his kid. |
