Sunday, July 31, 2011 8:48:59 PM I may not wear a black hat and call myself a villain, but I sure as hell don't wear a white hat and bend over for laws that the corporations paid to implement. |

Sunday, July 31, 2011 8:42:12 PM "The costs can be paid by oil companies, the military, and evil corporate jet owners!" Finally, someone gets it. Fat cats pigeon-holing our currency while scabbing jobs to other countries and collecting tax cuts from the same people who buy their products and struggle for work. Should we take their fortunes away from them even if they earned it? Hell yes! Is it right or fair? No, but such is life. Thats what they show us. Lets return the LOVE. Oh, that was a funny vid too. |

Saturday, July 30, 2011 8:35:37 AM Imagine... A small business wanting to get paid for their service? They should be doing it for free! We deserve it! Nor should the plumber, carpet cleaner, gardener, or auto mechanic get paid. We need insurance to cover the costs of each of those services. It's my right, it's humane, and any caring society would like to make sure all their citizens have homes, yards, vehicles that work properly with affordable maintenance. Not just the more affluent but all. Better yet, Doctors and associate health care professionals should work for free, or work for a new Government Agency at no cost to us regular citizens. The costs can be paid by oil companies, the military, and evil corporate jet owners! |

Saturday, July 30, 2011 6:51:41 AM The type of system (NHS vs private) doesn't alter the price of health care, just how you end up paying for it. In the UK taxes are 36% of GDP versus 18% of GDP in the US. Pay the hospital or pay the taxman, but pay you will. |

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I've had to see a battery of doctors lately, and all of them have their walls lined up with pamphmlets and magazines published and provided by pharmacutical corporations. People wonder why health care costs are so high? Really? Why is it that the conservatives are hell-bent on denying health-care coverage to the middle-class, but ignore the ass-raping big pharma commits on average citizens every day? Trust me.....you don't want to know my theory.

Friday, July 29, 2011 9:14:13 PM Sorry MrPeabody, but it is "Free". It's paid for through our taxes. Same as garbage pick up, snow removal, parks etc. etc. When I heard how much you guys pay for insurance each month, I gagged. If you have some sort of delusion that the insane amount of money you spend on insurance each month is somehow equal to the pittance in additional taxes we pay, you are clearly just trying to make yourself feel better for getting shafted. |

Friday, July 29, 2011 8:51:40 PM "But it's free, and the drugs he prescribes me is free" It's not free, it's just that Governments are good at brainwashing people into thinking they never had what they are paying for it. I would bet if you look at your gross pay verses what you actually take home, you will find that it's not so free. And in the case of Employer provided insurance, it's just part of your salary. |

Friday, July 29, 2011 7:31:03 PM At least he only had to make one appointment. My jerk of a doctor has me make a separate appointment for each thing. If both my ears hurt, I would have to come in twice. But it's free, and the drugs he prescribes me is free (yay work health coverage/union!) so all I can do it bitch about it and waste my time. |

This is so fake. You'd never get in the room to see the doctor without insurance. His staff would stop you at the reception desk. |
