Monday, August 08, 2011 12:30:50 PM The highest earners/corporation have made tremendous gains for 3 decades, while middle income earners have continually regressed. This scale continues skew to towards the filthy rich, yet average earners defend the top 2%, why. Doesn't make sense that the great wealth of a country is shared by a very select few. |

Wednesday, August 03, 2011 12:23:24 PM So print Money(Cause Inflation) Give to the people to fix the roads (Limited Government Jobs) Take more money from the only people who can afford to start companies. (Tax the rich. The richest in the USA pay 35% taxes on Income, All Americans pay 15% on Capital Gains. Stop any new business development) Give health care to all (Current government health care plans are in the red, this one will be OK) You guys are right, this man is a genius!

Monday, August 01, 2011 9:00:36 AM I think I misheard him then. He seemed to say 'greatest country on earth'. That is not true. America is the only country on earth, right? Or that's what Americans have told me, anyway. |

Sunday, July 31, 2011 1:48:06 PM @obeydarklord each speaker got one minute. Also, you can't create wealth, money doesn't grow on trees, because that would just cause inflation. We just need some Austrian Economists in there. If you don't know what Austrian Economics is, then look it up and research it. It teaches the right stuff. |

Sunday, July 31, 2011 5:56:50 AM These turd sandwiches all talk in billions and trillions over x number of years. Here you go in simple numbers America: You made $22K last year You spent $37K last year You have $140K in credit card debt Here is Washington's "Grand Solution" 1) Call Citibank and get them increase to your limit by $15K (That will get you through the next 12 months. They will have to do roughly the same thing every year for the next 10 years) 2) Cut your spending habits by $400 each year for the next 10 years. Assuming Citibank waives all interest charges and there is no inflation for the next 10 years, you will only be $300K in debt. However, assuming the above, and doubling the number of hours you work for the next 10 years, you'll only be $140K in debt (just like you are today) These non-nice individuals do nothing but talk poo and pretend that the other guy isn't doing anything. Suckers. |

Saturday, July 30, 2011 11:55:03 PM "I can't stand people that think rich people have "earned" their riches." Okay. Someone opens a business, works from when they wake up 'till they go to sleep 7 days a week on said business. This goes on for years, until the business grows to a point where the owner is finally making what Obama says is rich. ($250,000). So this person didn't earn it? You are a drating dolt. |

Friday, July 29, 2011 10:13:37 PM Things that piss me off... The democrats have this stereotype that all people you are wealthy are just fat greedy pigs, and that we can just tax the crap out of them. Has anyone ever thought that hard workers deserve every cent that they earn? |

Friday, July 29, 2011 6:13:42 PM ""...increase the debt ceiling..." -- Yeah, that's just what a country in severe debt needs... the ability to get FARTHER into debt. " If you're in debt what gets you on your feet better? More time to pay off your debt or having all your worldly possessions repossessed because you owe more than your country is worth? "Ethanol...great choice there guys. All it has done is drive up food costs" Then how about you speak to your representatives about all those farmers you pay to not farm to keep value of food from crashing through the floor? Plants grown for ethanol aren't even on the same market as the food you buy.

Friday, July 29, 2011 5:53:39 PM Did I miss something here? A republican who wants to make things better by improving citizens lives directly and green technology and they seem to want to do the smart thing and NOT go into debt even more. Since this is obviously the smart thing isn't that usually the side democrats take? Did they switch things up again like they did way back when? |

Friday, July 29, 2011 5:30:39 PM Tsk, Tsk, Tsk Senator! You should know better. The masses are clamoring for immediate satisfaction and the old Roman senate is still pandering for the call of the Coliseum for distraction. |
