@Errand_Boy: It would be best for all involved, if you would just lock yourself inside. No one needs to target the police's families. How can one Crime justify another?

This is why we need a privatized force to police the police. Then when the privatized force begins getting brutal, the cops will get their acts together. |

F*uck Fullerton cops, I've had so many problems with them back in college. Most are on power trips and love to harass people for no reason. I really hope this doesn't get swept away like so many other police atrocities. |

An investigation into the beating was was undertaken by the Fullerton Police Department starting on 7 July 2011 which the FBI later become involved in.[4] The story of his beating broke soon after.[5][6] Kelly Thomas was removed from life support and passed away on 10 July 2011, 5 days after the beating.[7] Initial reports claimed that Thomas had been very combative with officers and two had suffered broken bones,[8] later the police department confirmed that no officers had suffered any broken bones and no one other than Thomas had any significant injuries.[9] By the end of the month several news outlets had picked up the story and it had become international news.[10] On 18 July 2011 several people, including the victim's father Ron Thomas, began a protest outside the Fullerton Police Department.[11] The investigation is still ongoing and a final report has not yet been released. |
