Do it with a real helicopter and I'll be impressed.

Some idiot was flying one in my building. Crashed into a sprinkler head and set them off!

The guy that sells these things at the mall can't fly it ten feet without crashing. That being said this is impressive.

i bought a honey bee king 2 as my first one. its still sort of classed as a beginners copter compared to the others that are out there, but was too hard for me. so i stuck with one of those dragon fly ones.. or what ever its called with the dual rotars. much better for beginners

RC copters are crazy hard to learn to fly. Especially if their battery life sucks.. I should pony up for a better copter! This was awesome!

My RC helicopter is in a whole bunch of pieces, just from trying to learn how to take off (BTW, I am a licensed pilot). RC is hard, and this was way cool.

Here's another video of 3D RC heli flying - http://www.youtube (DOT) com/watch?v=3PY4XdPaiXk

Someone who has good videos of this on Youtube is NightFlyyer, just search "3D" on his channel, he explains how r/c helis work, and how to fly 3D.

Indeed, the pitch of the rotors is simply reversed to hover and fly upside down. Since a helicopter's rotors often change pitch within a single rotation anyway, this isn't as big a deal as one might think. Still, awesome RC skills.

I think it's a safe bet that the rotors don't reverse their rotation, so I would presume that they alter their orientation mid-flight.
Anyone with RC helicopter knowledge?
