Anyway I think that you misread my statement which implied that those without understanding tend to lean towards faith-based assumptions because of their deficiencies. The converse is false though. |

It is so funny that so called "scientist" still believe Man is causing "Global Warming", oops I mean "Climate Change".
They use to believe we were causing the Next Ice Age.
I call your bluff:
Provide references to scientists who currently think that human activity is a factor in climate change and who in the past said that humans were causing the next ice age.
You can't, can you?
But that won't stop you continuing to claim it's true, will it? You don't need evidence because you have faith that you're right.
I'm old enough to remember the "ice age cometh!" fad *in the news media* in the 1970s. Note "news media", not "scientists". It went like this:
Scientist: The evidence indicates that interglacial periods in the past were usually shorter than the one we are currently in.
Newspaper: SCIENTISTS SAY ANOTHER ICE AGE WILL HAPPEN SOON! |

Yah I agree, why review the scientific results from the people who have studied the problem for the past few decades and try to pinpoint the flaw in those studies when you can just summarily dismiss those studies by saying, you scientists are stupid. |

You mean scientists changed their views based on new evidence and knowledge? How DARE THEY!
I mean, they should just make up an opinion and stick to it whatever happens, regardless of what comes to light down the line, shouldn't they?

just because one believes in God, does not make that person stupid, or bad at science. I believe in God and had plans to be a physicist. Please show respect to everyone. I don't say that because you don't believe in God, that you are an evil person. So please don't say that those who believe in God are stupid.
For the record, there is no scientific way to prove or disprove the existence of God. |

But... science has like numbers and stuff which is algebra or something, I no good at numbers so science must be bad. Instead I'm going to believe in an invisible deity because believing in a magical happy place makes me feel better. |
