Friday, July 29, 2011 5:15:35 AM "i think people take jon to seriously, he is after all a comedian..." I actually do watch his show to see whats going on in the world when it's not on IAB. I think I watch him and colbert so much is because I love how they rip on people and I myself enjoy it. But that;s just me. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 11:51:56 PM Unprovoked personal attacks will not be tolerated. We let them slide sometimes if it's in the heat of the moment or part of a larger scale debate. 3 comments about someone who hasn't even posted in the thread yet are not acceptable. Given that this is a thread about whether or not people are being picked on, none of you are doing yourselves any favours here. Posts deleted, no bans in place yet, lets keep it that way. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 10:10:06 PM One of these days...I really think this country is going to turn against itself...all thanks to youtube comments, cnn, fox news, and various popular news sites. If you read the comments people post online, you would think the [left/right] wing are the most gruesome, vicious people on the face of this Earth. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 8:12:14 PM We've gotten to a point where Cons take every opportunity to call us racists, where exposing politicians who make it a point of denying equality makes us "hateful", pointing out that freedom of religion also applies to Buhddists, Muslims, and Evagelicals makes us part of the problem. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 4:37:45 PM "I think Jon's comedy would be more entertaining if he wasn't pushing an agenda. " The only agenda Jon is pushing is to reduce partisan politics and to hold all news organizations to the standards of journalism. He doesn't have a liberal agenda. You obviously don't watch his show or you would know this. His audience is liberal and conservative. The stories do tend to lean right but that is only because there is more material on the right for satire. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 4:26:42 PM I think Jon's comedy would be more entertaining if he wasn't pushing an agenda. Of course all the people he showed are idiots, but by only recognizing one side of the idiocy it invalidates the whole argument. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 4:20:08 PM I did notice that CrakrJak was talking about being persecuted here on IAB because he is Christian. Well, we DO do a lot of christian bashing. But I think it's because the christianity-k0ckroach crawls it's way into every topic. like a cancer in society |

think people take jon to seriously, he is after all a comedian... He is a satirist who uses humour to make political commentary. Like George Carlin, Lewis Black, or Stephen Colbert. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 2:41:30 PM I do not include The Daily Show in the opinion media category. Jon Stewart slams the unprofessionalism of journalists on both sides. The state of the news disgusts him. You would know this if you saw how tough he was with Obama. And the non-partisan theme of Jon's rally. He was trying to stop the insanity of the ridiculous partisan fights. Both of these events were one week before the 2010 election. If Jon was truly a partisan hack he would have used both opportunities to push a liberal agenda. But he is not. He is actually quite fair. Fox News is trying to make him out to be a villain because he tries to hold them to the standards of journalism. It drives them nuts. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 2:00:09 PM Yeah yeah. Give me a production staff and access to the equipment and TV footage and I could do the same thing about the left. We don't always have to agree on everything. We never will. But most reasonably intelligent people will agree about lots of things. Then when we find out that we're not so different after all and can begin communicating and stop shouting. |

Thursday, July 28, 2011 1:19:22 PM Link: GOP - Special Victims Unit [Rate Link] - Do conservative pundits hate it when liberals play the victim card? Does it distract from conservatives as the victim?
