In order to have the video develop in such a manner as to have the illusion of the garden come into position as the video plays along it was necessary to start the recording from the final illusion viewpoint. There was a massive line for it so it wouldn't have been too practical to have shot the video in the proper direction due to time constraints. |

Even though I submitted this link this was not the title I submitted. I suspect that "greasy" was meant to be "grassy" but since greasy is not a misspelling of grassy it wasn't caught by a spell checker. |

This is very true. Having spoke with some of the folks who built it they explained that they relied upon lasers to align it all up. Good insight. |

A nice illustration of trompe l'oeil from wrong angles and the right angle. I've been looking for something like that for the pavement chalk drawings, but this is the same idea so it'll work just as well. |

The video was shot by hand and the bumpiness was extremely distracting so it was put through stabilizing software which made for that curious effect.

While this is essentially true if a YouTube video has a boring thumbnail image (which that first image forms) people will avoid clicking on it as a suggestion. |
