Love this, and Colbert rocks. However it should be noted that everyone take his advice with a grain of salt. If you ask a bully to kiss you he just might decide you're being uppity and say "kiss my fist queer".
Bullies are sometimes actually just looking for any reason to hit someone they perceive to be weaker than them.
That being said it definitely will get better for any who watched this. |

@robswindol theres kids everywhere who have low self-esteem and deal with it in all sorts of ways, why the hell would we support those who choose to deal with it by hurting others? drat those kids, they deserve everything bad that comes to them |

I've done that before, and I got picked on more than ever. That was in...eighth grade, and some chick kept calling me lesbian, so I'm like yeah, wanna make out? The bullying just got worse, and the school counciler took me aside and told me it was my own fault for saying that, even if it was a joke, and that I deserved to be picked on.
Fun times.
(It was a small school, only about 150 people, so word traveled really fast) |

I think he's sending a message to the wrong crowd. Not that gay people don't get picked on or don't deserve support, but because most of the gay people I know are already fairly confident with themselves. It's the ones doing to bullying who have the low self esteems and need support. |
