@Creabhain Of course it counts, it was from the edge of the box so it was either a free kick or from open play. Lots of Goalkeepers have scored, e.g. Schmeichel, Foster, Robinson, theres even a Brazilian that took penalties and frees who has over 100 goals but I can't remember his name. A goalkeepers basically like any other player apart from the fact they can use their hands inside their own area.
There was no way of saying that last little bit without it being some sort of inuendo.

The soccar goal at 1:57 doesn't count. The goalie is not allowed to score directly. Someone else has to touch the ball before it crosses the line. |
