Thursday, July 14, 2011 6:10:14 AM As I said on the last post about the end of the shuttle. This is the start of privately owned spaceships, which is one step closer to Firefly irl. Oooohh you mean we'll actually have space programs completed on time and within budget WOOOHOOOO!! |

Wednesday, July 13, 2011 12:17:08 PM "what the drat is going on, why are they ending this? Because Obama is a douche and ended the Constellation space program that would've replaced the shuttle." Way to unnecessarily interject your opinion without actually answering the question, Crakr. *applauds* You are amazing at times.

Wednesday, July 13, 2011 10:24:22 AM Q: How will astronauts get to the space station? A: NASA will continue to buys seats on Russian Soyuz capsules to ferry space station residents. The $56 million price per head will go up to $63 million, which is still cheaper per person than the space shuttle. Q: Is there any other way to get into space? A: Not from U.S. soil once the shuttles retire. NASA could eventually use the commercial rockets and capsules being developed by private companies. Two companies predict they could fly astronauts to the space station within three years. NASA is under orders to build a giant rocket to go beyond Earth orbit. |
