Fides, do you live under a rock? It's called prepaid. You pay the cashier/attendant in the station and they turn on your pump. It won't go past however much you paid. You get exactly what you pay for. |

where I live every pump is self serve and it is against the law for the store to turn th epump on before the gas is paid for unless you use a credit card at the pump. |

TR-Wolf, there are still a few independent garages here in the UK that do it. Everywhere used to of course and people moaned when it changed, same as they do about self-serve tills now. |

In 49 states the vast majority of people pump their own gas.

Who writes the description? The site this came from clearly says the person payed and drove off before the nozzle was removed from the car. Why would you not remove the nozzle before collecting the pay? When I pull up and get gas the pump it and put the cap back on the car before collecting payment every time. |
