Almost certainly fake--and a really stupid thing to fake, too, because deodorant is poisonous to eat.
It's just a guess, but I'm thinking he substituted white chocolate or feta cheese for the deodorant. I seriously doubt you could chew a stick of deodorant like that and not have it affect your speech due to the astringency of the aluminum salts. |

I accidentally ingested a flake of deodorant once, just a flake. It was the most horrible, bitter thing I've ever tasted.
