you know, I know we see alot of poo out there about bad cops but I wonder how many of these videos/stories had victims where they actually deserved the beating of their life, for lets say child abuse or some bad s.h it where we all know the system doesn't ever do justice to people like that. |

This was awful, pigs = pigs. 5+ cops can't contain a handcuffed man who's already laying on the ground without beating him to a pulp? I do hope they all land in jail for this crime.
Remember the lady arrested for filming the cops? This clip could easily have been duplicated there too if she hadn't been brave enough to demand her rights. |

I would like to try and make a point here... If you are being, as in "in the act of being" tazed, you have no control over your muscles, how the hell is this guy supposed to "roll over on your stomach" let alone, resist the officers while being tazed? |

These cops are being too authoritarian. If the subject won't comply, then you use only the most necessary force such as restraint and forcible manipulation. These cops were out of line and should be seriously disciplined for using excessive force.
That said, this kind of thing is incredibly easy to avoid. When the police tell you to do something, just f*cking do it. Are you really stupid enough to think that you can simply argue or will yourself out of getting arrested? You will have your day in court to explain what happened. I've NEVER seen a "police brutality" video where the subject wasn't being defiant, belligerent or outright violent.
When the cops show up, speak when spoken too, be polite and cooperate. Things will never turn out better for you if you resist... |

Anger - Very true. I just think there were probably a few bad decisions leading up to him being handcuffed and tased. Granted, I'm sure we'll never know the entire story, but it aggravates me when people demonize police officers without the full information. |

Enigima - for someone with such a loose grasp of spelling and grammar, I think you should refrain from calling people retards. Do you understand how people make it to court? You arrest them. If someone refuses to cooperate, they had it coming. If this happens to you, keep your mouth shut, comply with the officers, and get a lawyer. |

@egalm: While some of the things in your 'rant' are interesting, some are clearly not true. For example: A traffic stop is a 'crime scene', and there is always a record of police activity when the car is equipped with a camera.
Filming is not harassing. It is filming. And would I 'harass' a firefighter, nurse, store clerk etc? If they have a history or pattern of abusing power, assault, etc., and I had the right to (they're not all public employees performing their duties in public) YES I WOULD. |
