Whatever, I don't believe anything about these so-called 'flags' on this alleged 'moon' they're talking about.

to those claiming the moon landings were faked: go tell that to Buzz Aldrin so he can punch you in the face.

Actually the moon landing was faked, and god knew we would fake them so he put american flags their because the christian god is real and only likes america and if you don't agree then you're going to burn in hell for an eternity

Seems reasonable to me.

didn't they put a reflectors on the moon?

Yes, they did. And they've learned from those reflectors that the moon is drifting away from us.

PS I have 140 IQ. The test was done at my school cause I managed to get straight A's on my test, but failed the course. it wasn't a online test.

Bwa-ahahahahahahahahaha! PS: I have an IQ of 137, and I know that "a lot" isn't spelled "alot".

faking the moon landing made alot of sense. We were in a race againist the soviet union at the time. Remember the space race?
I believe we faked the first one(NO. 11), some of the others yeah, we did make it there. The first one how ever just bought us more time. It would make sense if you considered it, but being so high in IQ makes you close minded, no?

Damn. I just dropped in to check for spammers and trolls. I was in a happy mood. Now I'm chronically depressed. Seriously. Please tell me you're not the next generation. It will help me sleep this night.

As far as seeing the flag from here, you do realize that we'd be viewing it almost edge on. 11 & 12 are thought to be destroyed. 14 & 16 are nearly edge on. 15 & 17 are not much better. You talking about being able to see something about 4 inches wide, from this angle, from a distance of 222,000 miles away. It wont be moving, so you can't use motion to detect it. It will probably be covered in moon dust so it would be nearly the same color as the surface of the moon. If it has been ripped from micro-meteors, then it would cast a small ragged shadow that could resemble the cratered surface of the moon, thus camouflaging the shadow.

So seeing the flags on the moon would be like trying to see a grain of sand in a field of dirt using our best imaging satellites.

Highly interesting! Thanks OP (oh, it's @fancylad! lolz! Thanks just the same!)

@Angilion's in a foul mood this evening! Or morning as the case may be!

The whole "fake moon landings" thing is the American Government's CoInTelPro to distract you from the real secrets: Alien buildings on the moon + UFOs seen clearly by Apollo crews. These are "the man behind the curtain" the gov't does not want you to know...

The best evidence that the moon landing was real was that the our Cold War adversaries were monitoring the Apollo transmissions. If they found any evidence of it being faked, they would have made a huge deal out of it. You can't fake transmissions from the moon when the USSR is using it's own equipment to track the mission. It is easy to tell if a transmissions source is the moon or not. That means we sent something to the moon multiple times. It is absurd to think we went so far as to send a robotic transmitter to the moon, that dropped off a reflector, and then returned that transmitter to Earth in an effort to fake the human presence on the moon.

I've noticed something else:

we have satellites that can see a lady bug from orbit

That would be from a very low Earth orbit. Couple of hundred miles up at most, i.e. much less than a millionth of the distance to the moon.

Military spy satellites could see the flags from a fairly high lunar orbit, if someone was willing to pay to put one there.

The reason we don't search for the flag with a telescope isn't the difficulty of finding it - people know exactly where it is and can focus a telescope with pinpoint accuracy.

The reason we don't search for it with a telescope is that we don't have one that can detect it from any great distance. To see the flag on a telescope, you'd need to send a telescope very close to the moon.

Sure, we have optical telescopes that can detect things many light-years away. But the things those telescopes are detecting are a million times the size of the Earth and are extremely bright.

So you'd have to send a telescope on a lunar mission to see the flag. Why do that? It's not cheap to send something up close to the moon.

Chopped off:

...the technology required to fake it wasn't known to exist in 1969.

It's damn hard to fake low gravity and to fake or make a vacuum over a large enough area. You could do it today with CGI, but you couldn't have done it in 1969 with technology known to exist.

The only "faked it" explanation that makes any sense is that aliens contacted the USA government, told them not to send a manned mission and lent them the technology required to fake it.

I'm not buying that explanation without any evidence.

faking the moon landing made alot of sense.

Bollocks. Your grasp of sense is as shaky as your grasp of English (free clue - "alot" isn't a word).

These things can be proven without any doubt at all:

i) The USA spent the time and resources developing a craft capable of taking people to the moon and back, prior to the first manned mission.

ii) The USA spent the time and resources building that craft, prior to the first manned mission.

iii) The USA spent the time and resources training people to crew that craft, prior to the first manned mission.

iv) The USA sent that craft to the moon and back at the time of the first manned mission.

It makes no sense to fake it under those circumstances.

That's true even if you ignore the evidence of that first manned mission and ignore the fact that there isn't any evidence that it was faked and ignore the fact that the technology required to fake it w

To all of the people saying "why not just look with a big telescope" ... the moon is pretty drating big, imagine searching an area the size of a state with a telescope. picture like wit ha google earth map. search that large an area for a 5foot pool that could potentially have remains of a nylon flag. now take the real size of the moon and now you have a surface half the size of the US. thats why we dont look for the flag with a telescope..

I don't understand why so many people say "The moon landing was faked!" when there were MULTIPLE moon landings. Were they all fakes? Did they really feel the need to fake landings that weren't even televised or that most people weren't even aware of?

Stupid
