Just like in the OJ case, the jury made the only decision they could have honestly made given their instructions. If someone gets away with murder, it's the prosecutors' and investiagators' faults. |

Oh btw, if anyone wants to know how often people get away with murder read Homicide: Life on the Killing Streets by David Simon. He spent a year in the Baltimore Homicide Department and wrote this book about it. It's written as a story but is all completely true. (This plus his book The Corner is what The Wire is based on. Loads of stuff in The Wire is actually true.)
It's amazing how many people get away with murder, or did in 1980s Baltimore. |

I only found out about this after she was found not guilty. I think it's perfectly plausible that her daughter died in the swimming pool and she got scared and tried to cover it up. Don't forget she's been found guilty of lying to police so she's not completely innocent. |

I'm honestly not that stunned, don't get me wrong I think she was as guilty as they come, but there really wasn't enough evidence for the jury to convict. The prosecution did a terrible job. I thought she was going to walk about a week ago. |
