We used to put the chicken on it's back, then move your hand over it in a circle 4 or 5 times to hypnotize the bird.
worked every time... Does not work on pigs. |

It's not the chalk or anything else. If you take a cayman or a small alligator and turn them upside down, they go into what seems to be a trance. Turns out, their hearts are not capable of effectively pumping blood while in that position and are losing blood flow to the brain and muscles. I would imagine that there are similarities in the vascular systems of both that permit this to work. |
