Man i thought it was a legit game, not a stupid anti-bear video. Say what you will about Bear, but when the zombie/nuclear apocalypse comes, he'll be alive. I wish I could get him on my zombie survival team. |

Yeah Bear Grylls is totally not a survivorman scenario. He offers very helpful tips and tricks to help you survive if you happen to be totally effed in the wilderness. He clearly states that many of the techniques he shows are to be used as a last resort, in utter desperation.
IMHO, the location of the show shouldn't matter, it's the situations he creates for himself and the tips he gives that keeps the show interesting. Someone acting boring and surviving is dull to watch, Bear is an absolute bad-ass, look at his resume. |

Never seen Les before, but a lot of people have misconceptions about Bear. The show isn't him surviving in various environments, it's him showing you how to survive in various environments. He is in real danger a lot of the time on the show, although he isn't necessarily out there on his own with minimal supplies. He has a cameraman, a mountaineer, a doctor, and sometimes a sound engineer.
Also, he says 'glacier' and 'vitamins' funny. |
