Friday, July 01, 2011 6:26:01 PM well crafted idiot... Thanks for proving my earlier point, dumbass You two may be eager to ditch law and order in favour of summary execution without trial by anyone who likes that sort of thing, but that says more about you than me. Sadly, it appears that you're more normal than I am. Personally, I'm glad that governments still disagree with those who favour murdering anyone accused of anything without bothering with a trial first. There are far too many people around nowadays who would have been right at home during the witch-hunting time and it's worrying that their views are normal enough to be spewed onto the net at every opportunity with hardly anyone objecting. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 9:28:52 PM @DarkMonkey: The goal of the cop was to get the situation under control as quickly as possible, which meant getting those cuffs on with no delay. He'd just arrived on the scene and for all he knew, the man was high on PCP and had a knife hidden on him. People sometimes snap when they realize they are about to be handcuffed and make a sudden struggle or a run for it. Exposing everyone on the scene to two or three seconds of additional risk--to avoid harming a ratty old backpack--would not have been worth it, in my opinion. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 8:35:15 PM The T-shirt was ironic because the back says "Nobody can hold us down" |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 7:52:20 PM Why not just TAKE the backpack off before cuffing him.. I mean, it's right there in front of you!! Seemed like more trouble to take the time to cut it off |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 4:04:44 PM Poor little girl! Standing there while the adults talk to the cops... But it looks like she's a tough little cookie! "He touched me right THERE!" "Eeeew"! Well, it sounds funny, too bad it's true. I'm glad the bad guy got caught, I hope he rots in jail forever, really I do. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 3:54:14 PM This was 7 years ago. Does anyone know what actually happened? Presumably there was an investigation, since the USA hasn't yet followed the wishes of some of the people here and completely done away with the entire concept of law and order and replaced it with everyone free to vent their bloodlust on anyone that anyone says is guilty of anything. For some strange reason, the people running the USA think that lynch mobs are no substitute for a legal system. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 2:18:40 PM Call me uneducated but whats the fhs tshirt mean to be ironic? His t-shirt says, "CAN'T NOBODY HOLD US DOWN," and yet this guy was holding him down. That's ironic. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 11:19:17 AM What bothers me is that they didn't turn off their trucks... I mean, I'm not an environmentalist or anything, but I could barely hear what they were saying. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 10:15:58 AM They should have first arrested the person filming the story, then dealt with the kidnapper. As we all know you aren't supposed to film cops since that is the most egregious sin in Merica. |

Thursday, June 30, 2011 9:49:27 AM EgalM: Many people plea to God under stress, that have done nothing wrong. This guy is likely guilty, but you can't use "pleading to God" as some sort of lie or guilt detector. |
