This song is more complex than people give it credit for. This is a commentary on the absurdity of the glorification of the topics in many rap songs, such as being "hard", having a lot of guns, and self-promotion in general. |

I think it's pretty sad when people try and mock low budget artists video shoot (like the prebreaks in Reno 911) but cant seem to pull it off because their gear is to good. Shoot this on a Canon Power Shot with no tripod and edit it in Windows Movie Maker and then you can pull it off.
I get that their trying to make fun of dudes that have no talent and no production budget, but those guys make a hell of an effort with very little, so the least you could do is work at trying to parody that style a little better. |
