I think the real problem isn't that female characters need more armor, it's that male characters need LESS armor.  |

In the past, female characters were primarily long-ranged
attack magic and medical magic users.
The skimpy outfit just fit into the whole
"What kind of female wants to lug around 50lbs of..."
I can't do it: I just wanted to watch the chain-mail moving
with her ass.
That is why people play games like "Tomb Raider," isn't it?

Her armor works better because men would be to busy checking her out to fight. Actually if she was topless they would be rendered completely helpless and unable to defend them selves. |

Warcrafts armor has really been doing well towards this subject, the epic armors are really not much different at ALL from the male versions, they are just cut to show a bit of boob sometimes, by sometimes i dont even mean alot either.. as for gears of war, its not exactly a FANTASY GAME now IS IT?! its not like warcraft or diablo, dungeons and dragons, lord of the rings, ect ect. its just another War Military re-tread with cooler ideas. (i do admit the locust horde is amazing, and id even be happy being in the Cogs) but you cant really call it fantasy |

@green_batman that is true, but it's also optional and even some of the guys are wearing skirts (like zevran). I do realize there are characters in those games with more..revealing outfits (Morrigan or even Miranda), but I think it's still better than lots of other games out there. |
