Deviros - the use of the word "clip" by EVERYONE also bugs me.
A magazine is a device that automatically loads rounds into a weapon as it cycles, typically using a spring.
A clip is a solid piece of metal to which multiple rounds are affixed for insertion into a magazine.
Thus:

My comment might have come off as a bit more "critical" than it should be. My point is that the humor aspect of it would have been so much funnier if they had truly gotten their facts right - as if they were really serious. The it would be far more tongue in cheek and far less "idiots who should probably not own a gun" |

I know this isn't supposed to be serious. But holy crap everything was wrong. It could have been really funny - the part where stuff kept coming out of pouches was really entertaining - and would have been better if it was better edited.
But clip? Seriously? Clip!? There wasn't a single clip in that video. Just saw an extended magazine. And typhoon? Really?
And for cryin' out loud - learn to mount your attachments man. The light especially.
The fact that the IAB caption calls it a "fire arm" is pretty funny too. |
