I still contend that Olympic floor exercises, rhythmic gymnastics, figure skating, ice dancing, synchronized swimming and the like should be artistic competitions, not sports, and not in the Olympics. Arguments about the athletic ability required don't sway me either, else why not include ballet or juggling or heck, break dancing? |
