Friday, June 17, 2011 10:43:26 AM Hopefully that incident didn't keep you from coming back to the States. Nah, not at all, it just took me by surprise at the time. I've been in the US maybe 15 times since, in fact I was in Texas twice this year. I love visiting the US actually! |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 11:59:29 PM looks like she started to resist arrest then he put a stop to it. he used more force than necessary but hey...hes a cop... apparently there was no reason to even put her in cuffs so hes completely in the wrong to begin with. she should have sat her in the car or on the side of the road, called an ambulance, THEN arrested the person who was actually drunk for causing the accident. cops these days all need a Psych evaluation test... |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 11:29:05 PM @Pandabee and @davymid/ State Troopers are notoriously jumpy and I've run into alot of them that are just plain arseholes. But their jobs are incredibly dangerous due to interstate drug trafficing and what not so it's kind of understandable. Hopefully that incident didn't keep you from coming back to the States.

Thursday, June 16, 2011 9:50:02 PM Before anyone else posts an ignorant 'she was drunk and fell into the wall from gravity' post, I want you to go 11 seconds into the video and watch again and again. He grabs the front of her shirt and pulls her COMPLETELY around himself, even takes a step TOWARD the wall. She was being arrested for DWI for failing the field sobriety tests, but the charges were dropped because ...drum roll please....SHE WASN'T DRUNK! Ever had an airbag go off in your face? the symptoms are "after airbag deployment the adrenaline surge creates a heightened state, allowing you to be acute in your response to the incident, but as the adrenaline leaves, which can happen as quickly as it came, your body becomes rapidly depleted, and you experience "shock" - risk dizzyness, fainting, certainly disorientation and loss of extremity control." Her passenger WAS drunk and grabbed the wheel causing the accident. Read the background story sheeple. Don't post like a fool. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 8:10:05 PM It seems like he was too rough. She didn't seem to be fighting him and there was no reason to fling her into a wall head-first like that. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 5:09:40 PM I'm not exaggerating this sh*t, this was my childhood. When I was a student, I shared a place with a guy from Derry. He'd grown up there in the 80s and it was a real eye-opener listening to him. The degree of sectarian conflict was boggling. Things like not going home during some time off from uni because it was the wrong time of the year and his estate was practically cut off for security. Or the time a few of us were walking back from a pub, a little drunk, and a loud sharp noise came from somewhere. We wondered what it was and looked around. He reacted to it as a possible gunshot and took cover. Wildly different childhoods. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 2:42:03 PM I've seen worse. She was fighting him and I don't think he meant to throw her as hard as he did. He should be reprimanded though and maybe some re-training. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 1:08:51 PM I agree with the previous posts that reference our civil rights, but there's a time and a place. Being escorted to the police car while in handcuffs, means you are under arrest. It's probably not the best time to exercise those rights to argue your case with the cop, who is neither the jury nor the judge. Wait for your time in court and plead your case then. At the same time this cop was clearly too aggressive. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 12:45:21 PM The poor thing couldn't even stand up. That is excessive force. The police don't have room to make mistakes that hurt people. I hope this idiot loses his badge for good. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 11:27:48 AM @rdeadyfisher "Shut up and do as you are told". If this is your attitude, well. You are welcome. You are welcome, for your free ride with the rest of us, on what we call the civilized society of personal liberties, progressive science and - last but not least you are welcome for the very land you plant your feet on every morning: founded on the basis of release from tyranny - the USA. Like France, England, Norway etc. Look it up. It's right there, in the constitution. When they wrote it - well this, in this video, was exactly what they had in mind, wanting to escape from. To your ungrateful and ignorant pleasure, you are mostly welcome. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 11:05:03 AM ok, this looked like an accident. the officer showed concern for the girls well being after he realized he had gone too far, brutality would have been beating her tazing her or spraying her with mace afterward. also, if you cant tell the girl is intoxicated by what she is saying, you have never been around drunk girls.the was obstinate and insulting. The police have to deal with the crappiest people you would never want to meet on a daily basis, cut them some slack. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 10:31:04 AM It looks to me like when she tried to pull away from him he intended to spin her around with her back was to the wall so he could hold in place and just failed miserably. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 10:22:49 AM Again , real simple. Shut up and do as you are told. No questions until asked directly , and you will save yourself an ass kicking. You have rights , but don't fail to remember that good behavior on your side equals good behavior from the law. OR , just open your mouth a suffer the re-action you deserve. |
