Thursday, June 16, 2011 5:41:04 PM Che's comments on individuality appear to be unattributed rumor. He commanded a prison camp for five months shortly after the war, but the assertion that he would slaughter idealists is a bit of a leap. His biographic "Motorcycle Diaries" is quite enjoyable, and I think it is the idealism within that is appealing to us silly librul types. Still, a cute film. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 8:03:00 AM Green is the new red????? Oh please...... would this be along with socialism being the kind of thing that destroys the world? Nowt wrong with being green, or commie for that matter- just as long as there is some common sense in there too.

Thursday, June 16, 2011 6:19:55 AM This is not a debate about what Che did, it's a bunch of enterpretations that different people have. The motive of Che became popular as a post- 60's and 70's reaction, and all it means is revolution. Not communism or executions, just revolution. Beside, he has long hair, beard and a beret. He is angry, and he wants change. Like people aged 13- 17 (or in puberty) and usually as you become an adult and aware of the realities of life and unfairness of the world, you want to change things. In addition, in search of your own identity, you want to create a distance between you and your parents - revolt agains the "establishment". Teenagers don't give a c*ap about communism or Cuba. All they need is a tough looking dude with long hair and the word "revolution" - and the t-shirt sells it self. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 4:41:42 AM It forgot the person who knows about che gueverra and what he did, is a teenager, wears the shirt, and isn't a communist. Assumptions get you nowhere in life. |

Thursday, June 16, 2011 3:40:42 AM Some many people out there don't know squat about the subject they try to shove in everyone's face. This is a great example of it. |

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 4:19:26 PM I wear this t-shirt. I know his actual history but i'm not a communist or a socialist or any "ist". I just like the t-shirt. It's a garment not a political statement. |

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 2:56:44 PM Fidel was never more than a lukewarm communist to begin with. He was always much more interested in nationalism than the international communist revolution which led to the falling out between Castro and Che. |

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 12:55:07 PM "So there is no difference between violence and diplomacy?" Picking a single example, the US used diplomacy with the native Americans did they? |

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 12:06:13 PM There's not a huge amount of difference. So there is no difference between violence and diplomacy? |

Wednesday, June 15, 2011 12:01:34 PM He did bad things to achieve his goals. So has the US, and practically every other nation over the years. Some nations are more fashionable than others though. There's not a huge amount of difference. |
