It varies from state to state but overall it's poor. We've focused heavily on general studies but really drop the ball in real world applicable education (sex ed, finances, healthly living, etc). It's stuff we expect parents to teach but many times the parent's don't know much better themselves. |

That's a risky misconception. It's clearly less effective than condoms, simple as that.
The fact that nobody you've had sex with has become pregnant doesn't mean it's an effective method. Pregnancy is far from guaranteed - you might have used no contraception at all and still no pregnancy. |

Mythbusters sucks. They can't even do proper science.
They do a fair job of putting some science into entertainment. It's a bit more scientific than the edited version you see onscreen. For example, they often repeat their experiments when possible. |
