@ 5cats: So Jaon (or Joan, as she's known around the office) Walsh is the liberal media? Ed Schultz (who was on suspension for calling Laura Ingram a slut) called for Anthony Weiner's resignation. As did Jon Stewart and Bill Maher (not journalists, but they are prominent liberal pundits). Rachel Maddow devoted a show to the topic and interviewed Congressman Weiner, asking him to explain directly (she can't be held responsible if he was still lying about it). I just don't see it -- I know conservatives are victimized horribly by the mean-old 'mainstream media,' but I just can't see much effort made to cover this up. |
