Seriously, one bunny with no ears is a mutant rabbit? Maybe a dog ate his ears... When theres a bunny with eight legs that walks like a spider, then we can talk about radiation poisoning. |

It probably has the ear cavities, just no cartilage. So it can possibly hear, just can't control what direction it listens in like the others. Might even just be a random mutation that has nothing to do with radiation.
Unless their entire litters are comming out mutated, or most of them. I wouldn't worry about it. |

I guess we're suppossed to ignore the 37 other, healthy, rabbits in the hutch. The tragedy in japan isnt over but could we please stop overeacting to the radioactive fallout. |

This rabbit is born just few km away from Nuclear power station in Japan. For that reason scientists (and not me) are thinking of a nuclear exposure problem.
And there have been earless rabbits born all over the place for many years. Did the radiation travel backwards in time and cover the world?
Got any references to those scientists you mention and what they actually said? |

Radiation has nothing to do with it.
Sterility is actually the first sign of radiation poisoning. That and the skin burns, vomiting and dehydration... |

This probably has nothing to do with the nuclear accident. It's just what happens sometimes when genes get put into the wrong places/not put in at all. |
