Tuesday, June 07, 2011 12:09:50 AM People make mistakes, no big surprise there, but for people to call Sarah Palin ignorant after all she has accompished (much more than Obama has)is just ridiculous. Sarah Palin has accomplished more than Barack Obama has? I'd love to hear your thesis on that. One is currently President of the USA, the other had a reality TV show. Please, enlighten us. |

Monday, June 06, 2011 11:14:36 AM WHO CARES? Obama also said the US had 57 states but he is still president. People make mistakes, no big surprise there, but for people to call Sarah Palin ignorant after all she has accompished (much more than Obama has)is just ridiculous. |

Sunday, June 05, 2011 3:40:46 PM Yeah, um the bells and warning shots were the exaggerated specifics part. Did you not read my quote? But the idea of sending a message to the British about the commitment of Americans to freedom, if not executed in such a dramatic fashion as described that night, I think was the gist of her anecdote. She's trying to pump-up her base! We stuck it to the man once, we can do it again! That's the closest I can come to interpreting her story in a rational way. |

Sunday, June 05, 2011 1:39:08 PM "Umm, did anyone actually listen to her? If not, read BostonKaiser comment. Her statement was clearly intended to be metaphorical, if a little exaggerated on the specifics." Metaphorical statements still need to make sense. She just kept saying "ringing those bells" and rambling incoherently. Aside from referencing, incorrectly, a historic event in U.S. history she couldn't even get a full sentence out... |

Millions of people watch her to say anything. We write demeaning sentences about her under false names on an internet message board. Who's the smarter one?" Us. |

Sunday, June 05, 2011 8:36:01 AM Correcting a person isn't 'bashing' them. There were no warning shots.. Revere was unarmed. There were no warning bells, the method was to knock on doors. As for warning the British.. it was intended to be a secret mission that would escape any British notice. Kind of hard to warn someone about something if you are actively avoiding them. It is fun to watch the teabaggers bend over backward to support her version, when everyone knows if a Democrat had said the same words they'd crucify them. So thanks, ignorant Sarah, for the entertainment. |

Saturday, June 04, 2011 3:50:00 PM Feh. ALL wrong. Paul Revere and William Dawes rode to Concord to warn Sam Adams to lock up the beer. "The redcoats can HAVE the damn tea!" he famously said. |

Saturday, June 04, 2011 11:16:52 AM The one thing I've learned from Sara Palin is to have more respect for the parents of the mentally challenged. So I will pay respect to Sara's mother and walk away from this one. |

Saturday, June 04, 2011 11:03:16 AM So, after reading the Palin site's spin, I guess the only correct conclusion is that both sides are right. Paul Revere did warn the British we were ready to fight, because he had ALREADY warned the volunteer militia. I might also add, he only warned them because he was stopped by a patrol. I doubt that they were one of his intended "stops". |

Saturday, June 04, 2011 10:37:40 AM I love how people try to divert attention with Obama's 57 states slip (He meant 47 but was exhausted from the campaign trail). Sara is refreshed being on basically what is a family vacation. What is her excuse? Bush made so many misquotes a daily calendar was made each year. You could do the same with Sara Palin but it would just be sad. |

Saturday, June 04, 2011 9:58:56 AM The spin doctors are out in force on this one. It is easy to get the facts on Paul Revere. Just don't go to the conservative spin sites that say Sarah Palin is basically right. Go to the historical sites that were already in place before Palin's debacle. Paul Revere warning the British that they were not going to get our guns? hahaha "Hey, British dude, I am warning you. You will not get our guns!" |
