I never said skateboarding was easy, it obviously takes skill to do it well. I just think that, skilled as they may be, many skateboarders display a "Mommy Look at me!" attitude. Bottom line is that as long as they keep giving me the impression of being smug, idiotic jack arses, that's what I'll call them. Some of them may be kind, intelligent and considerate people who will save the world, but that's not how they act. Fair is fair, after all. Even though I am the smartest man in the world, I don't act like it, so I don't expect anyone to acknowledge my greatness. |

I have mixed feelings about some of these. Those doing parkour,BMX tricks skaters and skateboarders (especially skateboarders!) are boring and predictable, yet I take grim satisfaction knowing that these smug, idiotic jack arses are in pain. I'm not proud of these feeling, but there they are. |
