I never claimed I wasn't crazy :-p. As for the odds of voting Republican it all depends on the candidate I don't blindly follow a party. As for her she's nuts because she thinks Libya didn't or still doesn't hire mercenaries, thinks the US/UN involvement there is some sort of white devils conspiricy and seems to think communism will work contrary of what happened to the USSR. |

He questions why the USA is attacking a country for doing what the USA is doing every day (murdering it's own citizens, IN HIS OPINION).
He doesn't say America is pure evil; but that the attack on a soverign nation is.

Nothing wrong with Socialism, just like nothing wrong with Communism or Capitalism or any other ism (apart from Nazism).
The problem is with the people who are implementing these structures, be them Military or Political. Moulding the fundements of these systems to fit their own little twisted view of the world and the poeple in it.
All countries do it to some degree.
Possibly apart from Switzerland.
You never hear of anything bad in Switzerland

She is pathetically oblivious, but Libya isn't really socialist. Socialism gets a bad reputation as an idea, because dictatorships love to call themselves socialist, because people will get behind that, and by the time they find out they've been lied to, the hammer is already falling down on them.
Capitalism worked fine until corporations realized they could destroy competition and drive down labor costs by purchasing a few government representatives. But now they've got a chokehold on our government, and not enough people are willing to take a stand against it. |

Yes, capitalism is something that looks to an eleven-year-old like it "sucks ass".
I'm way past 11 and it looks to me like capitalism "sucks ass". That's because I'm not fond of the idea of a feudal society. And yes, it is feudal. All you're doing is changing the names of the different levels of power.
All of the systems "suck ass" in a pure form (except maybe communism, but it's impossible to tell because communism can't actually exist).
I think that what's needed is to find the least bad mix of them. |
