Wednesday, June 01, 2011 10:03:43 PM i have called the police a couple times on people who have done this. nobody has ever wrecked right in front of me, but a few cars merged without looking and nicked cars, as well as just swerving dangerously in general. i followed one drunk driver for about an hour, because i felt like he was going to hurt someone, and even though i called the police twice they didn't show. i hope they were already arresting a drunk, because that one sure as hell got away :( |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 11:29:26 PM the thing that terrified me the most was the guy yelling OH SH*T every second. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 2:12:45 PM Moral of the story: "Dont text and drive, video tape and drive." Im sure someone already said this but I am too lazy to read the comments. carry on. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 11:13:12 AM My dumb ass cousin texts and drives. She texts with her hands and drives with her knees. And then she got pissy with me when I called her out on it. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 8:32:51 AM No that guy was impaired or suffering some sort of attack, nobody keeps texting after almost driving off the road and into traffic a few times first. He just got progressively worse and couldn't seem to re-find center. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 8:13:25 AM And his recording the incident was any better? I'll wait until a stop sign or light to text. I've actually pulled over to text, too. I just can't manipulate the phone and my steering wheel at the same time. It's not a coordination issue, it's just the position of the steering wheel and its size. That, and there's nothing happening outside of my truck that's more important than driving. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 8:03:12 AM No proof of texting and driving but I work for the coroners office and I see it all the time. Unfortunately there are are usually multiple victims in these types of accidents. As others have already said, don't record this crap, call the cops. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 7:49:29 AM And yet this idiot is a prime example of some moron recording another idiot's driving while driving and recording it. Just call the cops BOZO! |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 5:56:33 AM it seemed more like a drink driver than a driver texting also it wasn't terrifying, he just swerved off into a field. i mean sure it could have ended worse, but terrifying is not the right word |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 5:45:45 AM the correct thing to do would have been call the police and report it. and reckless driving does not prove texting while driving. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 5:05:27 AM @JUGGALETTEx0 "people make mistakes" This isn't a mistake, unless you have been living under a rock you know that using your phone and driving is dangerous. If he killed himself doing so that would be one less idiot in the world, but what if he killed say a father, a mother, a family, how many people would have to "learn" from that mistake? i dare say enough people learned from that mistake to make it illegal in the first place. I think it's sickening to see idiots like that toy with other people's lives and not get sent to jail. |

Tuesday, May 31, 2011 3:07:39 AM Hmm, at that rate the license should be taken away. They clearly didn't pay attention at the DMV. |
