For all you who understandly are going wtf right now I shall give you a little backstory....
About a year ago there were a few of us trying desperately to keep a dying OF alive. One way this did this was to assign an animal to each OF, everyone talking on the OF was actually a veternarian doing an operation and if we let the OF die then the animal would die. Suprisingly this usually worked.
So about a year ago... last year's Valentine's OF to be exact the offical OF mascot was Glenda the lovebird who was in desperate need of a heart transplant. Unfortunately we could not find a donor...
At first we tried stealing organs from hobo bird but without success. So then we decided to raise money to buy a heart from the black market! So we gathered together, contributing our sexiest photos to create WE ARE THE BIRD with the power of my mad editing skills. AND WE SAVED YOUNG GLENDA |

I saw this from before I was a member, it was because of the charity for injured or sick animals.
Everyone in the video were people who are/was members of the site. So yes, like Davy said, it's an inside joke.
And yes, it was made in about 20 minutes. |
