@YuliasAcups- It says in the article that she was confronted about her behavior, after which she became "aggressive." It's not like they just hauled off and called the cops with no warning. Although it is pretty ridiculous that they waited SIXTEEN HOURS to finally say something to her.
@ihurtmyself (and others, for that matter)- how fcuking ignorant can you be. This woman is rude, and you attribute it to her being black. If she were white, I can pretty much guarantee people wouldn't be spouting off calling her a cracker b*tch.

Good. I don't see any racism here. She was being obnoxious, she was violating Amtrak's policy, and when they asked her to stop, she refused. She was creating a disturbance, so they called the police.
I wish more bus drivers in Portland would enforce their No Loud Talking policy. Some do, but other times they just ignore it. The most obnoxious example was a woman screaming into her cellphone about how the bus driver was driving extra slowly to make her late. The bus was actually right on schedule and driving with the flow of traffic. She got on the bus too late to make it to her destination on time, plain and simple. Nobody told her to stop, probably because she also said to her friend on the other end that if anyone said a damn thing to her, she was gonna fcuk them up. I should have just put on my headphones and blasted music to drown her out, but I was kind of mesmerized. |

*Eyeroll* This dumb. First world problems make me want to vomit. I ride the Amtrak quite frequently (not for 16 hours, more like 5)... so I get it that sometimes people annoy the F UCK out of you. AND yes, she's extremely rude, but grow thicker skin, people. Not every single moment in your heavily blessed life is going to be sugar coated. Damn. |
